  • GoCPS Applications Timeline

    October 2021: GoCPS application opens

    Fall 2021 (Date TBD): High School Admissions exam

        -8th grade students will participate in this during the regular school day

    December 2021: GoCPS application closes

    Spring 2022: GoCPS Offers are released

     

    Private High School Scholarships and Applications

    Scholarships and private schools have their own deadlines.  Please be sure to note each individual application's deadline.

  • Announcements

     

    GoCPS announced in Spring 2021 that students will no longer participate in NWEA or the Selective Enrollment Exam for High School Applications.

     

    Students will now participate in the Chicago High School Admissions Test, which will be taken in the Fall at their enrolled school during the school day, and that score will be used to apply to high school programs.

     

    Due to this change, program rubrics will also be updated for the application year of 2022-2023.
